Well, practiced as a kind of "close hearing", I let the saint du jour
tell me about "our", (as in all of us), day. So, yes, it's very possible
this particular "Lazarus" may have been "speaking" about our
collective soul, as, yes, still, tormented by the Bush. Very within
the realm of possibility.

Yes, Gerald, the piece has a 'nice' existential spin.
Political me, of course, part of me anyway, took it as an image of George
Bush running for his life, soul, and whatever may be left.
I guess a couple of days ago, at his news conference in Baghdad, we were
given witness to some lively, heart felt, Arab 'sole' music. Question - are
Sunnis Arabs or Persians?

and at first it came to me as a kind of dream image,

find these things often won't settle for dwelling in
some isolated world of memory, pushing out to find
