Subject: Surgical textbooks suitable for level 1 operating department
practitioners
Hello,
One of the lecturers here is searching for a book on 'surgery basics'
with a UK-focus for level 1 operating department practice students.
Ideally she would like a text which covers different surgical
procedures, explains surgical instruments and so on. Texts we have
already purchased aimed at medical students such as Bailey & Love's
Short Practice of Surgery are too advanced. Alexander's Care of the
Patient in Surgery has too much of a US-focus.
If anyone has any suggestions I would be most grateful.
Look forward to hearing from you,
Kind regards
Janine Farnham
