Adobe Digital Editions is not available to network - at present. BL have been promised that a networked version will be made available in April 2009. In the meantime ADE is an on demand install. Done once for users on their own computers or those using static computers (staff and some postgrads) but needs to be installed on every log-in for users using open access computers (assuming that your set-up for OA is the same as ours - a locked down cold image that cannot be altered, with users having access to a share where their My Documents folder is).
There is no other resolution at present than 'education' and 'leaflets'

Subject: SED and Digital Editions
Here at the University of East Anglia, we want to move towards SED,
however we are having problems with the issue of Adobe Digital Editions
- getting it working and networked is our big problem. Have other
institutions faced similar problems and if you have, how did you resolve
it?
Any help you can give me on this will be very much appreciated.
Regards,
Andrew
