As always it depends how you do the sums. If you include all the
dispensing costs, repest prescription issuing and signing, 28 days is
ridiculously expensive, and the most efficient ois to prescribe enough
supply until the next time the consition is reviewed and the dosage
may be changed.
But then you have to look at how pharmacies are funded.
