If you go to http://openlibrary.org/about/help, you will see a list of
imported resources. The links there link to the stored files on the
Internet Archive. In particular, this is a link to the records
received from Library of Congress:

There are 8 million of them or so... but broken into smaller sets. The
main advantage of this file is its consistency... once you've figured
out what fields you want to work with, you will find fewer 'oddities'
than you will in some other files.
