OK, I looked over scenario 6 but as I've said, not being a true
cataloger (or even an untrue one), I got lost in the complexity. What
I could understand looked fine to me.
To help myself, and perhaps others who need simpler examples, I've
created two more scenarios, #8 and #9. #8 is a simple item that has a
series that doesn't have its own entry in the catalog. #9 is an item
that belongs to a cataloged series. This may need a bit more
explanation for the non-librarians on the list, and from the
librarians I would appreciate any corrections or additions to my
scenarios. (I didn't try to list every single possible field, just
enough to have a workable example.)
There's one other case that I want to do, but at the moment I don't
remember what it is. It'll probably come back to me.
