OK, I've double checked with CPD4Health and for people employed within Y&H:
* The Masterclass is free
* The 4 day Assistive Technology CPD module is £200
Contact details for CPD4Health are on the site if anyone wants further
information.
Cheers.

Just digging a bit further I found that the "Designing Future e-health
medical devices" CPD Course is priced at £200 for Yorkshire workers, which
is an 80% discount on normal price! I hope the Telecare one is cheaper.
BTW they said that I can wear my flat cap, but the whippet has to stay at
home.

Being a soft southerner, I'd not like to say anything definite, but yes, I
believe they will be free to Yorkshire men and women (wouldn't like to swear
on it until the final brochure is out). Or, to be pedantic, those that work
in Yorkshire and Humber SHA.
Dave, being from Yorkshire doesn't help you, but if you work in the bits of
Lincolnshire that are covered by the Yorkshire and Humber SHA (North
Lincolnshire & NE Lincolnshire: http://www.yorksandhumber.nhs.uk/) then you
are in luck!
Cheers.

I can't quite work out whether their CPD courses in general are free to
Yorkshiremen or not. Can you confirm or shall I ask them?

Hi all,
There are a couple of bits of training coming up in Yorkshire and Humber
that may be of interest to you or any colleagues who would benefit from
becoming more aware of Assistive Technology.
AT 'Masterclass' - 29th Jan 2009: see attached flier and
http://tinyurl.com/5obm98.
AT CPD Modules - 4 days in March 2009: details being finalised.
Both are free to people within Yorkshire and Humber, for those not so lucky
there is a £40 charge for the Masterclass and £300 charge for the 4 day
module.
More details on the CPD4Health programme are avaliable here:
