Bibliographer (Associate Curator/Curator), Getty Research Institute.
Reporting to Associate Director/Chief Librarian, develops general
library collections in history of art, architecture, archaeology, and
conservation. Requires professional training and experience in art
history and art librarianship/bibliography.
Oversees general library acquisitions budget; approval plans; coordinates work
of subject specialists; assesses offers and donations; works collegially with
Getty staff. Supervises Library Assistant.
Qualifications: Master’s, art history; Master’s, Library/Information Science;
Ph.D. art history preferred.
Seven years experience in art research library; knowledge of
two or more foreign languages.
