We have installed the new starlink release on an opensuse 11.0 system and
so far everything works fine here.
I have one problem though with autoastrom in Gaia. When I try to run it on
any image (I've tried about 4 images from different telescopes etc) I get
the result
--I autoastrom, v0.6-0
--I Running AUTOASTROM on pwfi0803060067.fits[3].
--I WCS information from AST.
--W Could not obtain filter by translating header.
--W Looking for FILTER header keyword.
--W Found FILTER header keyword, value is Z.
--I Calling EXTRACTOR.
--I Extracted 4742 objects from NDF.
--I Obtaining catalogue from [log in to unmask]
--I Obtained catalogue, 4482 entries, from [log in to unmask]
--I Iteration 1...
--I Matching position lists...
--I Matched 84 objects between catalogues.
--I Wrote GaiaAutoAstSolutionPos1.ASC to disk, storing matched objects.
--I Running ASTROM to generate astrometric solution.
--I Wrote GaiaAutoAstSolution3.fits to disk, keeping FITS headers.
Can't use string ("4") as an ARRAY ref while "strict refs" in use at
/star/Perl/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.10.0/Starlink/Autoastrom.pm line 1813.
The string ("4") changes from image to image ( so far between numbers
1-5). The catalogue of stars that have been found also opens up, the
astrometry just doesn't get calculated.
Does anyone have any ideas about what is wrong?
Thanks
Sarah
