Hello Nicole,
The location/permissions of the MEX file are not important in this
problem. Your difficulties arise from the MEX function being compiled
against a library (libstdc++) that you don't have installed or have a
newer/older version installed. You have two options...resolve this
dependency or recompile the MEX file for your platform.
Best of luck,
Ben Wagner

Subject: [SPM] SPM5 mex-file issue
Hi SPMers,
I'm trying to use SPM5 to convert DICOMs, and I encounter this error
message:
Running "DICOM Import"
Changing directory to: /home/nmlong/temp/ ??? Invalid MEX-file
'/usr/local/spm/spm5/mat2file.mexa64': libstdc+
+.so.5: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory.
Even when the mex file is clearly present and the permissions are
correct. Can anyone tell me how to solve this problem?
Thanks,
Nicole Long
