We have done some experiments on this topic because Siemens could not
provide us with the answer of the same question.
The experiment was very simple. We scanned a subject with a ep2d_bold
sequence with long TR and 4 and 5 slices. After one slice, the subject
turned the head to the right.
It seems that the number of slices, even or odd, is a very important
parameter.
