Post-Doc in Affective Cognitive Neuroscience

A candidate is sought with pre-existing interest in affective cognitive
neuroscience or with a background in attention/ PFC research who is willing to
branch out into the arena of emotion/cognition interactions. Applicants with
interests in genetic influences on neurocognitive function are also welcome.
Experience in neuroimaging and a PhD in cognitive neuroscience, psychology or
a related discipline is essential. Experience with computational modeling,
programming or genetics is advantageous but not necessary. The successful
candidate will join the new 'Affective Cognitive Neuroscience' laboratory within
the Department of Psychology at the University of California Berkeley and
have access to extensive facilities within the psychology department and the
neighboring Helen Wills Neuroscience Institute, including a Siemens Trio 3T MRI
scanner. Starting date is flexible up until Fall 2009. Salary will depend on
experience.
