Dear SPMers,
I am stuck with a problem here. I have a multimodal integration design,
where I presented either unimodal (A, V) or bimodal stimuli (AV). In
addition, there is a Signal to Noise manipulation of the auditory channel,
with an additional amount of noise added (AN, AVN). To identify the
integration areas, I computed a conjunction of 4 contrasts using the
conjunction null hypothesis, corresponding to
A > 0 and V > 0 and AV > A and AV > V
I did a similar conjunction to identify integration areas when the Signal to
Noise Ratio is less optimal
AN > 0 and V > 0 and AVN > AN and AVN > V
My question: How can I compare the outcome of these two conjunctions? In
other words, I am looking for brain areas where (AN > 0 and V > 0 and AVN >
AN and AVN > V) > (A > 0 and V > 0 and AV > A and AV > V)
How can I achieve this? Any help is greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
Henning
