Lone Sharks & Satellites: Interdisciplinary Networking (Theatre, gaming,
film, live art..)
With STELLAR NETWORK and ARTISTS ANONYMOUS for the London Games Festival
Fringe
Stellar Network and Artists Anonymous are delighted to join forces tomorrow-
TUESDAY 4th NOVEMBER to bring you a networking night with a difference.
Artists Anonymous' regular theatre networking event PubClub and Stellar
Network's Lone Sharks & Satellites networking event intertwine to bring you
the opportunity to hook up with a huge diversity of creative people, gain
inspiration, drum-up support and come away with numbers and the seed of
future collaborations. This is an event for people who think they hate
networking- we like to think of it as finding creative alchemy.
If you've the seed of an idea, project or need, take the platform to tell
the group all about it. Announce your project idea and ask for feedback;
find a game designer for your next interactive theatre production; find a
film-maker for your next installation. You could instigate a skill-swap by
telling people what you do best and what skill you need to tap into. Or if
you are there to fertilise or leech, keep your ears peeled for yourself,
your friends and colleagues- we think the best networking is done by linking
other people. If you have a recommendation, idea or contact for the person
in need, stick your hand up and let them know.
Hand holding and crowd control to be performed by Kate Hargreaves of Gideon
Reeling. Gideon Reeling make bespoke interactive theatrical experiences,
recently completing a 6th month residency at the Red Death Lates for
Punchdrunk and BAC's Masque of the Red Death as well as Games for the Hide
and Seek Festival, Soho Project and the BFI.
We at Stellar Network and Artists Anonymous are very excited about this
event, and are looking for the widest representation from the theatre,
gaming, film and tv communites- and all and any other kinds of creative
professionals welcome too. We need designers, producers, directors,
technicians, actors and writers. We'd also like to see composers,
choreographers, video artists . you get the idea.
