*Platypus in the Glenelg River*
Sitting on the sand bank
Still above the river
Paddles the back pool
Duck dives
Legs splayed sideways
Tail ripples across the water
To surface some time
Later
The Glenelg River in western Victoria...5 hrs each way from Adelaide &
Melbourne...to see platypus in the wild is rare......have about 1 km of high
river as my southern boundary...with platypus, eel, perch, tiger snakes etc
