Well, when you're unflattened, then, Christopher, here's something I'd
intended to copy into the last message to you, but wanted to know who wrote
it. Have googled but come up with no mention of who wrote it. It's said to
be a translation of the Lord's Prayer. Middle Eastern languages scholars
seem to be having a fit with it. I've found it hugely, continuously helpful
in calming and balancing me. Will copy it in below, just as I originally
got it from a friend. Then will type in my slightly altered version which
makes me happier. I found the beginning of the original version quite
off-putting at first, but couldn't come up with a better-for-me version.
It's nicely poetic, overall, I think.
#1:

*Lords Prayer translated from Aramaic *
*A Translation of "Our Father" directly from the Aramaic into English *
*(rather than from Aramaic to Greek to Latin to old English to modern
English) *

O cosmic Birther of all radiance and vibration. Soften the ground of our
being and carve out a space within us where your Presence can abide.

Fill us with your creativity so that we may be empowered to bear the fruit
of your mission.
Let each of our actions bear fruit in accordance with our desire.

Endow us with the wisdom to produce and share what each being needs to grow
and flourish.
Untie the tangled threads of destiny that bind us, as we release others from
the entanglement of past mistakes.

Do not let us be seduced by that which would divert us from our true
purpose, but illuminate the opportunities of the present moment.

For you are the ground and the fruitful vision, the birth, power and
fulfillment, as all is gathered and made whole once again.

#2: Judy's version of above

Oh Cosmic Birther and Bringer of all radiance and all vibration
soften the ground of our being
make a place within us
where your presence can abide

Fill us with your creativity so that we may bring forth
joy, beauty, patience, and love

Let each of our actions bring forth joy, beauty, patience, and love
in accordance with our desire

Endow us with the wisdom to produce and share
what each being needs to grow and flourish

Untie the tangled threads of destiny that bind us
as we release others from the entanglements of past mistakes

Let us not be seduced by that which would distract us from our true purpose
but illuminate the opportunities of the present moment

For you are the ground and the fruitful vision
the birth, power, and fulfillment
as all is gathered together and made whole once again.
