SLDL PhD Studentship Available
------------------------------
Topic: A New System-Level Design Language with EDA Focus.
Relevant background material has been explored in the orangepath project:
http://www.cl.cam.ac.uk/research/srg/han/hprls/orangepath/
This is a new studentship and the sponsor is keen for someone to be in
post fairly quickly, i.e. before October 2009.
A 3-year, industry-funded studentship is available at the Computer
Laboratory. The candidate should already have experience with
compiler implementation and/or RTL design in VHDL, Verilog and
SystemC. Knowledge of SystemVerilog and/or BlueSpec would also be
an advantage.
Please contact David Greaves if you would like to read for a PhD in the design of
a System-Level Design Language (SLDL) and can start soon.
