I think there was a ropeway at Tan-y-Graig quarry SH391465,
Llanaelhaearn - I have a note that Gwynedd Record Office XD2A/449
refers.
According to Jeremy Wilkinson's data from the Home Office lists of
mines, in 1903 Tan-y-Graig was operated by Tanygraig Granite Co Ltd
or British Grey Granite Co Ltd.
There are a number of references to this quarry, please contact me
directly for a full list.
