Dear List,
A chap called GA Rowe traced a number of Tamar Valley mine plans in the
early 1970s, photocopies of which are in the West Devon Record Office in
Plymouth. Some of them are noted as being Duchy Plans, but not all. Does
anyone know where the originals are?
One that I'm particularly interested in is a section of East Gunnislake and
South Bedford Consols, undated, which Rowe copied in March 1970.
The WDRO ref. number is 468/3, but Rowe has noted another number on the
drawing - R246A, which sounds like an AMR number.
Any ideas?
Robert Waterhouse
