We have just found a photo of Tregrehan Tin Stamps, St Austell supposedly dated c. 1900 in a Batsford book on Watermills, which we have never seen before. I am trying to i) date the photo accurately - as it looks Edwardian, and if so one of the latest images a bal maiden and ii) locate an original image for copyright purposes.
If anyone knows of this image, and can help with any information I would be very grateful. The photo shows a bal maiden and the owner (a Mr. Tregilgas?) in front of the stamps and water wheel. It is photo no 71 in 'Victorian and Edwardian Windmills and Watermills from Old Photographs' by J. Kenneth Major and Martin Watts 1977.
Many thanks.
