University of the Arts London is a vibrant world centre for
innovation, drawing together six Colleges with international
reputations in art, design, fashion, communication and performing
arts.
The London College of Communication is a leading international centre
for photography education. We are looking for an enthusiastic
individual to contribute to photography theory programmes at
undergraduate and postgraduate levels. As well as teaching across a
wide variety of topics in photography history, critical theory and
visual culture, you will also act as Year Tutor or Module Leader on
the BA (hons) Photography programme.
Ideally, you will have a particular interest in contemporary
photography and art practice, and an understanding of photographic
practice and theory from the practitioner's point of view. You will
also have a strong research and publication record. An excellent
communicator, you will be an adept and enthusiastic teacher -
something that you've already proven at undergraduate and postgraduate
level.
In return, we offer a competitive employment package including a
salary that reflects working in London; generous annual leave; a final
salary pension scheme; and a commitment to your continuing personal
