There might be something at the university of Keele where the RAFs archive of war-time aerial photographs is kept. However, it might only relate to Germany and occupied Europe.

Subject: [LOCAL-HISTORY] Decoy airfield. Sussex.
Hi i am looking for any photos of a WW2 dummy airfield, location , Gumber farm in West Sussex, decoy airfield for Tangmere. A wellington bomber crashed there, only the tail gunner survived, and a night fighter all so crashed,, there must be some photos somewhere, any clues to where they may be, long shot i know. History club !!. One of the R.A.F. personnel posted there was a Harold Sykes, any clues ?, I do have some photos, but its the ones of the crashed planes that i am looking for, pointers if any !!.
