LIS-LINK Comrades!
A geologist colleague has come up with a novel use for a 'fiche reader - apparently they are very good for examining thin sections of rock. Actually better for doing this than a microscope, which sometimes has too restricted a field of view. He'd like to acquire a couple more readers, but we can't help him - our 'fiche readers went out of the back door a long time ago. So, if anybody has a 'fiche reader or two going spare could they make direct contact with my colleague (details below) who will, I am sure, collect any readers that are offered to him.
