I think that if the merged_* files have been formed, then you cannot
easily rerun bedpostx on the missing slices (unless you create a sub-
dataset using fslroi). However, if bedpostx did not create the
merged_* files, and you still have the slice00* files, then all you
need to do is rerun bedpostx normally, and it will only process the
missing slices. (that is if you are running FSL4.0.1 or above I think).
