From: Rolv Mikkel Blakar [
I want to draw your attention to a special course within the Oslo Summer
School in Comparative Social Science Studies next summer (2009). Maritza
Montero will give a course in this Summer School for PhD students under
the exiting title: "Liberation and Participation: Theory and Method for
a Social and Political Community Psychology". A meeting (or
confrontation?) between Latin American community psychology based on
liberation theory and the Scandinavian Welfare State should be of
interest to every PhD student within the feel of culture and community
psychology (or even much broader). I hope you will not only inform PhD
students at your own institution, but that you will spread the word
about this unique course taking place in Oslo July 27-31th 2009.
All relevant information will be found here:
http://www.sv.uio.no/oss/index.html
Best wishes,
Rolv
