There will be a Laser Safety Study Day as below
Laser Safety Study Day (General / Surgical) Date: 4th December 2008 Venue: Governors Hall, St Thomas Hospital, LONDON
This established and successful study day on the subject of the safe use of lasers is to be held again on 4th December 2008. It is intended as training for Laser operators and associated personnel.
It covers the MHRA Recommended Core of Knowledge requirements. It also satisfies the National Minimum Standard, P2.1 (Care Standards Act 2000) that is required by the Healthcare Commission for operators of lasers / IPL's in the registration process and ongoing practice in private clinics and hospitals.
Speakers include the MHRA, industry experts and certificated Laser Protection Advisers.
The course is held in the magnificent Governors Hall in St Thomas' Hospital on the South Bank of the Thames opposite Westminster.
Disabled access can be arranged.
The nearest tube stations are Westminster and Waterloo.
Cost is £105.00 per person and includes Hot Buffet Lunch, Refreshments, Course Handbook and Core of Knowledge Certificate.
