Using Internet Explorer 6 or 7, we have encountered problems editing
table contents present in the Basic ePortfolio templates in the
Blackboard Content System.
A crude workaround seems to be to click on some other part of the page
(not necessarily in the Visual Text Box editor), and then to re-click on
the table, at which point you can edit it.
Have other people experienced this? Have you been able to find a
better/alternative solution (maybe patch from Blackboard)?
A second issue we have encountered with ePortfolio templates is: we
wanted to use a separate CSS file to control the styles in the Basic
ePortfolio templates, when we do this though, Firefox 2 appears to edit
the contents, but when you click Submit it fails to save your edits (no
warnings / errors appear on screen, content is just silently lost, and
page is same as before you began editing). Has anyone else seen this?
Found a workaround / solution?
Any help / advice will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Paul
