Hi,
As many of you will know, the European Health Policy Group has been holding successful conferences for several years now. David Wilsford has suggested that we might try to start up something similar with the AAHPN. I think it may be possible, although travel costs may prove an obstacle, don't you think?
Anyway, I noticed a conference grant scheme from the British Academy (the link is at the bottom of this message). I was thinking that it may be worthwhile applying for this. I guess the theme would be 'current issues and cross country learning in English and US health policy' or something like that. A two day conference, with perhaps 3 speakers from the US and 3 from England, is what I have in mind. I would need active collaborators with putting this together though, as I'm a little busy and need to possibly spread the work a bit.
Anyway, any thoughts, re. the general idea, speakers and putting the proposal together?
All best wishes,
Adam
