I wonder if anyone is currently working on this area? I will pass on any
responses to the sender.
Thanks

Subject: Academic TV
Dear Dr Piccini,
I hope you won't mind my semi-random query.
I am a professor in biomedical sciences at UCL and I have noticed that a
very large proportion (30, 40, 50%?) of my academic colleagues (at all
levels) do not own a television (at all) or claim never to watch it. Given
that there are 1100 television sets per 1000 inhabitant in the UK, this
observation makes me wonder whether there is a systematic deviation from
the norm.
I have done a few quick searches for hard facts on this topic without
success. I was wondering if you would be so kind as to point me to relevant
research on this?
Best wishes,
L Lemieux
