Lecturer in Documentary
Institute of Communications Studies
Faculty of Performance, Visual Arts and Communications
With a background in TV documentary film production, you will teach
current professional practice and have a comprehensive grasp of
documentary theory and proven production skills, enabling students to
analyse and create documentary output. You will be required to
contribute to the research strategy of the Institute, and be committed
to developing a record of publication appropriate to a department with
an international research reputation. You will be expected to initiate
income generation and to participate in knowledge transfer activities,
teach at both undergraduate and postgraduate level, and be expected to
perform managerial and administrative duties associated with your
role. You will possess a PhD. Experience of teaching in Higher
Education would also be desirable.
