& we have both Inspiration & MindGenius. Both seem to have their pros & cons, though I can't say that I know either well enough to know which is best. I've also used FreeMind (Free!) & http://vue.tufts.edu/ looks interesting if you want something that's very visual.
My overall feeling is that any of them can be made to look very appealing & visual; any of them can look pretty boring. It depends on how well the user knows the software & how imaginative they are!
