Dear Kelly & Guillaume,
I don't think this is exactly the same problem. The "gui_mainfcn" is a
standard MATLAB function which isn't shipped with SPM8. You should check
that your MATLAB path is set up correctly and include SPM8 as well as
MATLABs default paths.
