Hi Richard,
Thanks very much for your message. I've been in contact with Heather. She very kindly put a message about my research in one of their e-mail newsletters several months ago and also distributed some flyers at one of their meetings. Unfortunately, no one from the group has contacted me.
Thanks,
Candace

Subject: interviews for PhD
Hello,
I sent a message several months ago about my PhD research and I am really grateful for the help that I received. I have since interviewed five couples, each with a Muslim man and a Christian woman, about their experiences decorating their homes and feelings of 'belonging' and 'home'. I think that the interviews have gone very well. I started searching for interview participants last April and had my interviews between June and September. I advertised for couples using many different methods and was happy that I was able to even get five couples to interview. However, my supervisors now want me to reach my original goal of seven couples. I have placed some more advertisements (The Big Issue, Facebook) in places that worked for me before, but I am feeling anxious that I may not be able to get two more couples and I don't want to keep looking for too long. I would really appreciate any advice from other PhD students about when you know you have advertised enough and how to decide (or convince your supervisors) that you have actually done as much as you can.
Thanks in advance for any help.
