Articles and reports urgently needed
Rusistika, the Russian journal of the Association for Language Learning, has
unexpected space available in its 2008 issue, due out in December. This is a
themed issue entitled ‘Russian revival’, with the emphasis on the resurgence of
Russian in primary and secondary schools and post-19 education. Articles of
between 3000 and 5000 words and shorter reports relevant to this general
theme are invited, although contributions on other topics may be considered
or could be published in subsequent issues. The journal is directed at
teachers of the Russian language at all levels and also includes contributions
on Russian society and culture. Contributions may be in English or Russian and
should be sent by 27 October to the General Editor of the ALL journals,
Richard Littlejohns at Richard.Littlejohns.dsl.pipex.com. Rusistika is a refereed
journal, but we promise a rapid decision, and approved contributions will
receive careful editing and prompt publication.
