I have come across the website http://www.gatewaymonthly.com/archive.
This is within Gateway World of Books, the Archives " contain a
huge variety of short and serialised stories ..."
On clicking on the list within "Classic Stories" -"Rudyard Kipling
The Man Who Would be King" I found that the pdf was actually of The
Phantom Rickshaw; My Own True Ghost Story, The Strange Ride and then
The Man Who.. all from the same Railway Library volume although I see
differences in the text from the Indian edition I looked at from my collection;
then at page 67 there is added without even a new page "The Finest
Story in the World " (1891) with an erroneous interpolated heading at
page 86. His paragraphing is horrible, splits up Kipling's text; he
has lost italics (see in Many Inventions pp126-7) and other original format.
Altho the Home page says "I am in the process.." I cannot see
the compiler's name. It may be good to have some of RK's works put
on the web, but the format is not. Does anyone know about this site
and how to get the presentation improved?
