The January 2008 issue of "Book and magazine collector" has an article
"Kipling in the Magazines" by Mike Ashley copiously illustrated with
pictures from Kipling's books etc
there have also been several other issues of "Book and magazine collector"
with articles on Kipling. Back issues are available at half price to
subscribers. I am not one!
