Senior Associate to Global Archive & Records Management, Core Process Area

Global Archives and Records Management (ARM) is a process-based function
that protects and preserves essential business records to support the
AstraZeneca (AZ) mission to make the most meaningful difference to patient
health through great medicines.
The Core process area within Global ARM delivers valued Global ARM services:
operational archiving, records management business and related services. To
meet the challenges of a continuously changing environment we are now
looking for a Senior Associate to join our team at Alderley Park in Cheshire.
As Senior Associate you will drive archives and records management processes
and best practices on your site, in compliance with ARM policies & standards,
and legal and regulatory requirements to which the company is subject.
Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
· Assist with the implementation of hardcopy and electronic archiving
and records management operational process activities (including record
ingestion, preservation, indexing, retention hold, storage, retrieval and
disposition).
· Interface with AZ customers, stakeholders, and partners, to deliver
appropriate and efficient service in conjunction with established service
agreements and Global ARM programmes, practices and standards.
· Contribute to and develop policies, practices and procedures in line
with established ARM Quality Management System. Work closely with Global
ARM colleagues, AZ stakeholders, and partners in the delivery of the above
policies, practices and procedures.
· Participate in improvement projects globally and/or cross-regionally
to develop and implement archive and records management services and tools.
· Assist with the formal evaluation and testing of hardcopy and
electronic records management and archiving processes and applications.
· Assist with the monitoring and auditing process to help assure
periodic assessment and continuous improvement of the Global ARM Programme.
· Assist with the development and implementation of a global training
and communications programme for archives and records management.
· Contribute to the delivery of Global ARM strategies that are seen to
add real value to the achievement of business goals by key stakeholders.
· Through continuing education and appropriate memberships, stay
abreast/help team stay abreast of development and ‘best practices’ affecting
Global ARM Programme.
Minimum Requirements – Education & Experience
· University (higher) education or corresponding level of education
including studies in Archival Science or in another relevant subject for the
profession.
· Minimum 2 years of experience in a records or archives management
role or an equivalent professional role within service related industry.
· Good ability to express yourself, both verbally and in writing.
The Successful Candidate:
· This work calls for independence, customer focus, and the ability to
take initiative. Accuracy and attention to detail are essential requirements.
Project experience is desirable but not essential.
