Staffordshire County Council
The Information Governance Unit of Staffordshire County Council is responsible
for taking a corporate lead and delivering initiatives on a wide range of
information governance issues including records management compliance
(paper and electronic), Freedom of Information and Data Protection legislation,
implementation of electronic documentation and records management software
across the Council, information security and compliance issues.
The Records Manager will play a key role in a dedicated team, reporting to the
Corporate Records Manager, responsible for delivering excellent records
management services and programmes across the County Council to facilitate
the effective management of paper and electronic records, and with BS-ISO
15489-1 conformance. Responsibilities will include information and compliance
auditing, developing retention schedules, business classification plans, and
corporate taxonomy, provision of records management publications and
training, development and maintenance of corporate EDRMS.
