Need I point out that toilet seats are lousy places from which to
snort cocain? The razor blade slices into its surface, and some of
the snow gets stuck in the grooves. In my experience the best surface
to cut lines of blow in most bathrooms remains the classic hand mirror.
Ah, but that was a long time ago. Perhaps the toilet seats have improved.
It's occurred to me that global warming may take care of the South
American coke supply and attendant drug wars, leaving Columbia and
Bolivia to sink back into their traditional starvation. Those
mountain slopes may become too warm for the leaves. On the other
hand, conditions should improve in the Rockies, which will be good
for the US trade balance.
All's for the best in God's world.
