Tak for den, ja jeg har set den og tænkte på om jeg kunne sende et
abstract, men er i tvivl om mine tilgange til emnet er tilstrækkeligt
fokuserede på den normale fødsel. Hvis jeg skulle sende et abstract skulle
det være et debatterende oplæg, som ikke ville være direkte baseret på
mine egne resultater, - men som ville være afledte refleksioner om den
iatrogene faktor i vesvækkelse/vestimulation/afvigelse fra den normale
fødsel, - jeg er i tvivl om det ville gå an. Men konferencen er jo
interessant under alle omstændigheder.
Tror du vi kan sende et abstract fra hjemmefødselsgruppen om vores kommende
fælles register? En poster, måske? - eller måske er det for tidligt - jeg
kan sommetider få helt ondt i maven ved tanken om at vi måske vil få meget
svært ved at få bevillinger til løn til Karen. Hun er desværre ikke
indstillet på ret meget fritidsarbejde. Tak for sidst, det var et fint møde
og jeg håber vi kan indgå i samarbejdet med samme entusiasme som I andre.
Men du må jo kunne sende abstract fra dit hjemmefødselsarbejde, ikke?
Den artikel af mine, som du reviewede, - om obstertriske risikofaktorer for
dystoci er nu publiceret og du skal have mange tak for dine kommentarer !
Det var en fin proces at arbejde med review-kommentarerne, selv om hun
epidemiologen ønskede flere ændringer i 2' omgang. Jeg valgte at
argumentere for ikke at følge hendes anvisning og var noget nervøs for om
det ville gå godt, - men editoren valgte at acceptere mine forbehold og
ikke bede mig imødekomme hendes ønsker, så det var dejligt.
Vi har gæster fra USA, så jeg vil skynde mig videre
