I know that Adlib (http://www.adlibsoft.com) do a 'Lite' version of their Museum and Library software, which is free to download if you wanted to give an idea of what collections management software can look like. I think most other products have screenshots on the company websites, but you can see all those on the Collections Trust software survey pages (which I presume are the ones you just found?).

Subject: Collections management system demos
I've just been browsing on the Collections Trust website for the pages
which used to exist comparing different collections management and
documentation systems but I can't seem to find them anymore.
Apologies, Nick et al if they are there!
Can anyone point me in the direction of a good demo? It's for the
benefit of someone who is in archaeology but new to the idea of museum
collections management.
Thanks,
Tehmina
