Dear All
We sent 16 theses to BL on 12 August and are still awaiting their return. Unfortunately, one of our own researchers is waiting to consult one of them.
We have loaned our own theses previously but I first seek permission for each loan from the appropriate subject librarian.

Subject: Theses sent to EThOS
Dear ILL people
We sent 70 of our theses over a period of time to be digitised by EThOS but none of them have yet come back. I wondered if any of you had received the ones which you have sent back?
Do we know anything about the mechanism yet for researchers to make known that they want theses not yet loaded into EThOS?
I'd also like to let you all know that we will lend any of our theses within the UK and Eire only. They will be for use in the library only and must be sent by insured post/delivery method so that they are tracked and signed for. As we are asking our authors for permission to digitise their theses if they have not already given their consent, it make take some time between our being asked to send a thesis for digitisation and being able to send it to EThOS, but we will lend the original while this process is being undertaken on the conditions outlined above.
