There are no plans in the short-medium term for recording the deletions
in the DB.
However, the discussion I had with the developer has clarified how DPM
handles delete requests. Unlike get/put/bringonline (and soon copy)
requests which are all *asynchronous*, delete requests are *synchronous*
operations. Hence, the discussion we had today about the speeed at which
you can delete files is relevant and is something that could be measured.
