Dear Mark,
My image size 512*512*160. My computer specifications are Intel dual core (dual boot system Linux and windows i am running in Linux) 2.99 GHz, 1.96 GM RAM. I don't know much about computers so if the above details are not sufficient kindly inform me i will get back to you. Thanks. If it is memory problem do i need to rescale my image to MNI size or so.

This may be due to out of memory issues.
Can you let us know the size of your input images to invwarp and
also the specs of the machine you are running it on?
