Dear Yan Chen,
we recentrly did an experiment where subjects had to search something
on a large HDTV screen. We used an Eyelink II head-mounted eyetracker
and were able to calibrate it on the large screen by placing the LEDs
for head tracking not in the corners, but a little more towards the
middle (see the SR support forums for more information on that).
However,
- the helmet may get uncomfortable after a while
- if you cannot control picture onset, you may have to use an
additional scene camera and determine picture onset manually from the
videos.
Best regards,
Robert Schleicher
