Subject: [Sanlist] Cut and Splice: From The Seven Days update
A news update from Cut & Splice:
The Karlheinz Stockhausen 'intuitive music' marathon draws ever near...
Artist Discussion
We are really excited to announce an artist discussion focusing on Aus Den
Sieben Tagen which will feature this year's Cut & Splice Artistic Director
Anton Lukoszevieze, Zeitkratzer's Reinhold Freidl and artist, composer and
former Stockhausen assistant David Berhman. Robert Worby will host this and
it will take place at Wilton's on Saturday 24 at 11.00am at Wiltons.
It's completely free.
Gold Dust
One of Stockhausen's most notorious compositions starts on Tuesday 21 in
a flat in the East End.
Two young musicians will refrain from food for 4 days whilst living in
hermetic isolation before traveling to Wilton's to open the festival. Of
all of this year's Cut & Splice performers they may come closest to the
intensity of Stockhausen's experiences during the personal crisis which
ushered in the composition of the Aus Den Sieben Tagen cycle.
They will be blogging their experiences here

We hope to see you at the festival!
