The Learning Lab is pleased to announce that the first seminar in its 2008-09
seminar series will take place on Thursday 6th November 2008, from 10:00-
16:00 at the Learning Lab in Telford.
Most commonly associated with asking the audience in ‘Who Wants to be a
Millionaire’, personal response systems or ‘zappers’ are increasingly being used
in an educational context. Research has shown that they improve students’
levels of concentration and enable teachers to gain immediate feedback on
the level of understanding within the room. This seminar will use case studies
and research findings to look at the effectiveness of personal response
systems as an educational tool.
This one day seminar features three presentations from both educational and
commercial angles, and includes plenty of time for questions and discussion.
As a not-for-profit organisation, the Learning Lab is able to offer this seminar
at just £80 per person, to include lunch and refreshments. To book online, or
to print a fax-back booking form, please go to the Learning Lab Website –
www.learninglab.org.uk. Please note that places are limited to the first 20
bookings to maximise interaction so please book early to secure your place.
