CALL FOR ABSTRACTS
The RGS-IBG Postgraduate Forum Mid-Term Conference provides a relaxed, supportive, yet academically relevant atmosphere for postgraduate geographers, from all aspects of the discipline, to present their research and discuss ideas. The conference is also a social event and an ideal opportunity to meet up with other postgraduates.

Contributions
We welcome papers and posters from students at any stage in their research. The guidelines for submissions are as follows:
Papers – Paper Presentations should be 10 minutes in length, with five minutes allocated for questions afterwards. PowerPoint facilities will be provided. Overhead projectors and facilities for sound can be arranged on request.
Posters - Posters should be A0, A1 or A2 size.
Posters will be mounted on display boards throughout the day, and presenters will be allocated a 30 minute slot in which to answer questions.
Abstracts of 200 words can be submitted to:

Abstract dead-lines - Abstracts will be accepted up to and including Friday 30th January 2009.
Conference Fees
In order to attend delegates must pay an attendance fee which will be £20.00.
This includes: tea and coffee on arrival, morning break refreshments, lunch, afternoon tea and post-conference drinks.
Conference Meal
For the first time this year there will be an official conference meal at the Royal Corinthian Yacht Club (non compulsory). The meal is heavily subsidised and will only cost £10 per person which includes dinner and entertainment (there will be a live band). Partners are welcome if notice is given in advance.
