What about the MAFF Code of Good Agricultural Practice for the
Protection of Soil (1993)?
Anyone got anything more modern?

Subject: Sewage sludge spread on allotments
We are potentially transfering ownership of part of an allotment
directly
adjacent to and potentially historically part of a former sewage
treatment
works. I've been asked to advise re potential contamination issues
specific to
the sewage works (waste spreading etc). I've highlighted potential
elevated
concentrations of heavy metals but would like to be able to refer to
specific
research / guidance and I can't seem to find any.
Anyone got anything I can use?
