Hello
I'm working with a student who has a Liberator 14 which has a built in
head pointer, which he uses the exceptionally well.
I was asked the other day (by him) if he could use the head pointer on
the PC part of his liberator to access the internet.
After trying, and failing, I rang Liberator tech support who rather
shortly (my own interpretation) said no that wasn't possible.
First of all is this really true?
It does personally seem rather extraordinary to sell a PC based
communication aid only to limit the input to the non PC part;
on a machine that costs about £6000; and that is promoted for "those
eager to integrate personal computing with their communication device".
If you are a headpointer and you can't use the headpointing system on
the PC side then personally I don't think that is true.
To use two head pointing systems one for the communication/liberator
side and one for the PC side of things is not a route I want to go down
Information on the Liberator 14 can be found on
